We do not shy away from difficult matters. On a daily basis we discuss loaded subjects. Everything we do surrounds a complex disease and how we can contribute to the improvement of care for patients with a terrible diagnosis. Combine that with highly technical scientific discoveries and data analysis, and one might think we are hyper focused people walking the talk with serious faces.
Well, we can’t deny that happens… a lot.
But don’t be surprised if you walk in our hallways and find people dancing (often in combination with singing) behind standing desks, throwing around rugby balls or balancing 2 cups of coffee, 1 cup of chicken soup and 3 cups of tea on a (badly designed) tray hoping for the best. Whatever works to get the adrenaline going for the next round of meetings and battles against anything between our diagnostic tests and the hands of a physician.
