2. What personal data do we collect?
We process the following (categories) of personal data from you:
Contact details (such as name and e-mail address);
Any information you share with us through the open text field of the contact page on our websites;
Any information shared while being in contact with us;
Any information displayed in your e-mail signature.
3. Why do we collect, store and use your personal data?
Your personal data may be used:
to get in touch in order to answer your message.
to sent you our newsletter; only if you opted-in to receive the newsletter. You may always opt out at a later date.
for our internal client administration.
any legal obligations, for example tax law.
In relation to the above-mentioned purposes, we are relying on our contractual agreements in case of a client engagement, or our legitimate interest for external communication and business development. We have taken the necessary steps to evaluate whether your rights and freedoms do not override our interests. However, you can always object to the processing when you believe your rights and freedoms override our compelling ground for the processing (please see section 5. Your rights).
4. How long do we keep your personal data?
We will not retain your personal data any longer than necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in section 3. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data.

As a data subject you are entitled to certain rights:
Right to access your personal data;
Right to rectification in case the data is incorrect or incomplete;
Right to be forgotten;
Right to data portability (meaning to request your data to be transferred to another organization in machine readable standard format);
Right to restriction of processing;
Right to not be subject to automatic decision-making and profiling (the right to a human eye on decisions);
Right to object to processing when you believe your rights and freedoms override our compelling ground for the processing;
Right to withdraw your consent if the processing is based on consent.

After verifying your identity and data subject rights applicability criteria, we will do everything reasonably possible to comply with the request unless it will require completely unreasonable measures (e.g. technically or organizationally virtually impossible or extremely costly). We may refuse to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic. All requests are handled within 30 days after receiving them. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.
Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard Internet log information and visitor behavior information. When you visit our websites, we collect information from you automatically through cookies or similar technology.

What types of cookies do we use?
There are a number of different types of cookies, however, our websites uses analytical cookies only by using Google Analytics. SkylineDx has implemented the guideline from the Dutch data protection authority regarding Google Analytics aimed at minimizing the impact on your privacy. We process the following data for the purposes described above:
-The first part of your IP-address. The final part of your IP-address is masked;
-The number of activities on our websites;
-The duration of your visit;
-The number of pages you visit;
-Your language settings;
-The place of residence;
-The browser you use to visit our websites.
We process the above (personal) data on the basis of legitimate interest as such analytical cookies have no or minor impact on your privacy.
How to manage your cookies?
You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can also delete all information that has previously been stored via the settings of your browser.
7. Recipients of personal data
We only share personal data with third parties when this is necessary for the execution of our agreement, legitimate interest or to comply with a legal obligation. In principle, we do not share personal data with parties outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”). When data is shared outside of the EEA, we will at least take appropriate measures to protect the data and the data subjects by means of, for example, agreeing standard contractual clauses where possible. 8. The right to lodge a complaint
Should you wish to report a complaint or if you feel that SkylineDx has not addressed your concern in a satisfactory manner, you can email the details of your complaint to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In this case, you may contact the Dutch DPA, de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. You can find further information on their website.
9. We do not process children’s personal data
Children merit specific protection regarding their personal data, as they may be less aware of the risks, consequences and safeguards concerned and their rights in relation to the processing of personal data. The websites are specifically not designed or aimed at children of 16 years and younger and does not intentionally process children’s personal data.
