Software Engineer (NL)

 

Your job in a nutshell

As Software Engineer you will be involved in new product development and sustaining the IT part of our medical devices that are currently operational. You will participate in a multidisciplinary team of experts, in designing, developing, qualifying and deploying new and existing software for our medical devices. To meet the high software development standards for medical devices, an eQMS is in place and you might contribute to the implementation of future functionality. 


Together we ensure the validation and implementation of clinically relevant scientific discoveries into reliable medical diagnostic assays for diagnosis, prognosis and drug effectiveness prediction that will ultimately contribute to improved patient care.  

 

You have

  • a Bachelor or Master degree in a technical engineering area with a strong software development component.

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in a similar technical function, preferably in the life science industry.

  • knowledge of - and hands-on experiences with Visual Studio IDE, C#/.NET.

  • knowledge of other IDE and/or programming languages (pre).

  • familiarity with software life cycle process, preferably for medical devices.

  • familiarity with quality systems and/or eQMS.

  • familiarity with IT data security (pre).

  • strong analytical skills and creative approach to problem solving.

  • an excellent command in written and spoken English (pre).

  • a hands-on mentality and result oriented attitude.

  • an entrepreneurial mind-set and are able to work in an environment with high quality standards.

  • the ability to motivate the team and manage both internal and external collaborations.
