Project Coordinator (NL)


Your job in a nutshell

As Project Coordinator you will be dedicated to one or several projects that cover the in-vitro diagnostic assay development process from marker discovery, development, and validation of biomarkers.

As Project Coordinator, you will  work in close collaboration with the Project Manager to coordinate the development of the assays according to high quality standards in a timely manner, as well as the management of internal and external collaborations required within the projects.

You will liaise with clinical investigators in coordination with business unit Scientific & Clinical Development and Commercial Development in order to acquire user input. You will have project planning and budgeting as job objectives.

Together we ensure the validation and implementation of clinically relevant scientific discoveries into reliable medical diagnostic assays for diagnosis, prognosis and drug effectiveness prediction that will ultimately contribute to improved patient care.  

You will report to the Project Manager.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of innovative, state-of-the-art in vitro diagnostic devices in a dynamic environment.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.

  • Monitor project progress across all departments.

  • Responsible for preparing presentations and providing administrative support.

  • Translate product requirements during the entire project to meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.


You have

  • a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant area.

  • preferabily experience in project management.

  • preferably familiarity with working under GMP standards and ISO 13485 requirements.

  • familiarity with translating state-of-the-art science into products that matter to patients.

  • preferably experience in molecular techniques such as PCR, microarray or NGS technology.

  • preferably knowledge in molecular diagnostics, genomics, assay validation, statistics.

  • communication and organization skills.

  • a hands-on mentality, flexible and goal-oriented approach to work.

  • strong analytical skills and creative approach to problem solving.

  • an entrepreneurial mind-set, self-sarter attitude.

  • experience with working according to high-quality standards and are able to ensure the products are developed accordingly.

  • an intrinsic motivation to make a positive contribution to health care and provide solutions for patients.
