Your job in a nutshell

As IT Professional Medical Devices, you will be involved in new medical device development and sustaining existing medical devices. From an IT perspective, you will keep the products and related technical documentation up to date, according to high quality company standards and in compliance with applicable regulations.

 

The IT Professional Medical Devices, participates in a multidisciplinary development team of experts, and together you will design, develop, qualify, deploy and maintain new and existing medical device products.

 

Together we ensure the validation and implementation of clinically relevant scientific discoveries into reliable medical diagnostic assays for diagnosis, prognosis and drug effectiveness prediction that will ultimately contribute to improved patient care.

 

 

You have

  • a technical Bachelor of Applied Sciences, Bachelor or Master degree and preferably with a focus on life sciences / biomedical sciences.

  • 2-5 years working experience with product development (preferably in life sciences)

  • knowledge of and hands-on experience with one or more of the following:

    • Writing and executing against product development plans

    • Developing technical content (product descriptions, user guides, online Help, technical training and others) and/or reviewing documentation written by developers (content and/or grammatical correctness)

    • Reviewing GUI (graphical user interface) text elements.

  • the ability to verify accuracy, completeness, consistency and maintainability of technical content by reviewing content against builds and/or internal releases.

  • experience with or willing to learn the following medical device development standards:

    • the IVD Regulation 2017/746;

    • ISO-13485;

    • IEC-62304;

  • familiarity and working experience (preferred) with quality management systems.

  • strong analytical skills and creative approach to problem solving.

  • an excellent command in written and spoken English.

  • a hands-on mentality and result oriented attitude.

  • an entrepreneurial mind-set and are able to work in an environment with high quality standards.

  • the ability to motive the team and manage both internal and external collaborations.
